Kekuli Bay Cabinetry has been in business since 1998. Starting out in Salmon Arm BC as a solid wood hand crafted furniture manufacturing company, Huber’s Heritage Furniture Inc., became the second largest Hand Crafted Furniture company in BC.
After moving the furniture production facility and 30 employees from Salmon Arm to Vernon in 2004, President Ed Huber realized there was a void in cabinet manufacturing in the Interior of BC. In Jan 2005 Kekuli Bay Cabinetry started the cabinet manufacturing business.
Today Kekuli Bay Cabinetry is one of the few technologically advanced facilities in BC of this kind. The factory uses its own wood waste to feed a wood burning a boiler that heats the building during the winter months giving us a leading edge for our environmental footprint. Five computer controlled nested routers are the heart of the manufacturing process, followed by a flat line finishing system that produces the best finish possible. Lean manufacturing practices produce high quality cabinets at a very stable cost. This process contributes to the flexibility within our manufacturing facility, which means we can supply virtually any material required for any design. Kekuli Bay Cabinetry uses the finest European hardware so that every cabinet shipped has soft close doors and drawer boxes.
Our cabinets are designed and crafted to last a lifetime, much like the furniture that Kekuli Bay manufactured in the past. Today between our Vernon and Kelowna showrooms, we have eight designers with the ability to complete any cabinetry job required from design, build, delivery to install. We can supply budget friendly bathroom renovations, multi unit projects, all cabinetry for custom homes, wine rooms, TV rooms, Fireplace wraps, commercial millwork and any other built in project a customer can dream of.
